Privacy Policy for Pixel Patch

Pixel Patch is a single-player game. It does not collect, sell, or share any personal data with Pixel Patch, its developer, or any third party. The only data that ever leaves your device is your own save file, backed up privately to your own iCloud account, as described below. Pixel Patch does not require an internet connection to play.

What the app does

• All game progress (coins, crops, achievements, settings) is saved only on your device, using standard local app storage. This never leaves your device except as described in "iCloud backup" below.
• The app makes no network requests to Pixel Patch, its developer, or any third party: no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no third-party SDKs of any kind.
• There is no account creation, sign-in, or linking to any external service. Pixel Patch does not manage or have access to your Apple ID.
• The app requests no device permissions other than the optional notification permission described below.
• There are no in-app purchases and no real-money transactions of any kind. Pixel Patch is a one-time purchase with nothing further to buy.

iCloud backup

If you are signed into iCloud on your device, Pixel Patch automatically backs up your save file to Apple's iCloud Key-Value storage, tied to your own Apple ID. This exists purely so your farm can be restored if you ever delete and reinstall the app, or move to a new device. This data:

• Goes only to Apple's iCloud, under your own account, never to Pixel Patch, its developer, or any other third party.
• Contains only your game save (coins, crops, plots, achievements, settings), no personal information beyond what you may have optionally typed in as a farmer or farm name.
• Can be turned off entirely by signing out of iCloud or disabling iCloud Drive for Pixel Patch in your device's Settings, in which case the app falls back to saving locally only.

Notifications

Pixel Patch can optionally send local notifications (for example, when a crop is ready to harvest, or a daily reward is available). These are:

• Scheduled entirely on your device, nothing about your play session is sent anywhere to generate them.
• Off by default, and only requested if you turn them on in the in-game Notifications settings.
• Fully controllable per-type, with a quiet-hours window, in the same settings screen.

Children's privacy

Pixel Patch collects no personal data from anyone and is safe for players of any age, including children under 13. The optional iCloud backup stores only game-save data under the device owner's own Apple ID, and the app itself never collects, transmits, or has access to that data. Pixel Patch is fully compliant with COPPA and similar children's privacy regulations.

Changes to this policy

If this app ever adds a feature that changes what is described above, this policy will be updated first, and the update will clearly describe what changed and why.
